Northend United 7 Annalong 1 Friday 13th October 2023

Northend started the game with the high press as the youth were up for the challenge from the beginning. The teams passing and moving was too much for Annalong as the Youth were playing fluent football above their age. Cahir Mc Allister opened up the scoring 5 minutes in with a first class touch from a long pass to slot it into the keepers bottom left. He went on to score (6) goals with the outstanding help of the midfield behind him with assists from Caolan Logan, Jamie Butler and William Lowry. William Lowry added the 7th with well-read interception tackle to then go and slot it by the keeper. Northend Youth unbeaten so far in the league and if they keep playing like they have been they'll be hard to beat.

Northend Colts played very well in this match against Taughmonagh. The result should have been more an even result as Colts were putting on the pressure all game and had goalscoring chances. A well worked free kick goal was scored by Jackson Miskella. These young Colts are working well and improving as every week passes.

Northend United go joint top of the league with a 2 0 win over the Northend Colts. This was a hard fought game throughout with both teams giving it their all. Cahir McAllister with the opener late on to then set up Jamie butler with a fine headed goal from the corner in the last minute to wrap up the game.

Northend United 6 Glendowan Colts 1 Friday 29th September 2023

Northend Youth unstoppable in a 6 1 win over Glendowan. Right from the get go northend on top with Cahir McAllister scoring in the first minute to start the tempo. he would go on to score a hattrick with 3 fantastic goals one of which was a solo dribble passed 3 players and thumped a rocket into the keepers far corner. William Lowry added to the scoring with a peach of a long-range strike in the top corner to then be added by Jamie Butler scoring a great low strike passed the keeper who made a great effort but to no avail. Fabian Elisei not only scored a screamer from the halfway line with his first of the season but he was a rock at the back and was giving the man of the match award.... In all honesty and true to the young lads the man of the match award could of went to all of them with an equal share as they were an absolute credit to themselves and the Club

Northend United 2 Lisdrum Youths 6 Friday 22nd September 2023

Northend United Youth lost this match but that doesn't deflect how the game went, as in large periods of the game Northend had the ball playing fantastic passing football and, on another night, could have had a lot more goals.

Unfortunately, top of the league Lisdrum, who are unbeaten to date, and a really good side put their chances away. A defeat yes but if the performance levels like that keep up it bodes well for the rest of the season. Northend’s goals were scored by Cahir McAllister and Caolan Logan

Northend Colts 0 Hillsborough Boys 6 Friday 22nd September 2023

Northend Colts started the game really well this week. With goalkeeper Danny McCann and defenders Jayden Miller and Kacper Wesolek keeping a really good Hillsborough team at bay early in the game with some great interceptions and defending.

The midfield 3 of Finn Hamill, Luca Rainey and Jackson Miskella were working tirelessly together. With Archie Gordon at centre forward showing some nice touches and skill during 1st half.

Oisin McIlvenna was introduced in the second half and put in his best performance of the season so far with his willing running and prescence.

Hillsborough ran out winners in the end but a special mention to Northend goalkeeper Danny McCann who was incredible in the match and pulled off countless saves throughout the game.

Northend United 2 TW Braga 4 Friday 15th September 20123

Northend United U10s started off well against TW Braga and should have been winning by 2 in first ten minutes. However, they lost momentum after conceding 2 quick goals but kept battling to the end of the match, scoring two goals along the way. The Wee Blues were unlucky not to get at very least a draw with goals from Jamie Butler and Caolan Logan.

The Northend Colts 2014 gave their all until the end in this match, played in very poor weather conditions. The Wee Blues came up against a very good Glendowan side. Improvements week over week and if they keep at it like they did the results will come.
